Submission Guidelines

Due to a large backlog of submissions, we are NOT currently accepting unsolicited queries or manuscripts. Please check back on this website in the coming months to find out when we may be open to accepting them once more. If you wish to submit a project for consideration by the agency, (manuscript or screenplay) then please email us a cover letter about yourself with a short synopsis (approximately 1 page for each). Please include both in the BODY OF THE EMAIL. If we are interested, we will ask to see a sample of your work or the whole project. If you are seeking representation as a screenwriter, director or producer then please send us your CV along with a synopsis of any current projects you are seeking representation for. Please note that we take from 6 to 8 weeks to respond due to the high number of submissions we receive. Send all queries to raftos@raftos.com.au Attn: Submissions. Please do not send first drafts of projects or unfinished material. Please note that we do not accept submissions of short stories or poetry. Manuscript assessment agencies can be valuable if they provide constructive editorial feedback on your work. It is not necessary to get an appraisal done on your manuscript before you submit to us, but it can be helpful to get your work assessed by a professional.
